Crochet Rocket Rug Pattern
We fell in love with this crochet rug rocket and we need to show you. It may not look like it, but it’s a standard for beginners. The crochet rug is a decoration item that makes all the difference in the environment. If you are going to put the rug in the bedroom, take the opportunity to combine the colors of the rocket with the decor.
Use similar tones that complement each other. It can also be used in playrooms, schools, study corners, among other children’s spaces. The shape of this rug is totally different from the traditional ones that are round or rectangular. Talk to the child who will receive the rug, if it is something personal for him, seek to know about his favorite colors and how he would like this piece to be made.
It all depends on the taste of each one and how the rug will be placed in the space, after all, it needs to be in harmony with the environment. Whether sophisticated, fun, practical, dog rugs give that special touch to your decor. As it is a children’s rug, you can put non-stick material under the rug, so you don’t run the risk of slipping.

To make this rug you will not need a lot of materials. At the end the mat measures approximately 38” [96.5 cm] long x 34” [86.5 cm] wide, including wings. Here are some notes that are important for making the pattern:
- Rug is worked with 2 strands of yarn held together.
- When working from chart, wind small balls of the colors to be used, one for each separate area of color in the design. Start new colors at appropriate points. To change color, work to last 2 loops on hook and draw new color through last 2 loops, then proceed in new color. Beg at lower edge (flame), with 2 strands of B, ch 8.
